Autumn Interior Trends 2022

If you’re anything like us, your Instagram and Pinterest feeds have steadily become a place solely for interior inspo. We’re addicted to looking at homes and the gorgeous Autumnal colour palettes, especially whilst designing our latest showhome at Sherwood Fields, Bolsover. What are the key trends however that we simply can’t get enough of?

Nature led

This can be achieved through a brown, green and beige colour scheme, but also natural materials are key in this trend - think rattan, jute, wood and canvas.

This doesn’t have to focus on house plants too as it’s possible to incorporate plant and floral designs in wallpapers, duvet covers and cushions.

We’ve always been a fan H&M’s home range for their style and affordability, and particularly love these nature inspired pieces:

Retro prints

70’s style is making a comeback in the form of patterned tiles, bold colours and exciting fabrics. We love the nostalgia of this trend, and it injects a bit of fun and optimism into homes. It doesn’t have to be full on though, as even just incorporating a bold print in the form of a rug or cushion would be ideal next to an existing white or grey wall.

The colour pink

Pink is known to have a calming effect making it an ideal choice in homes. It’s so versatile with some beautiful shades to suit every room in the house:

We also find that pink is also super easy to match home accessories with, as it compliments a lot of earthy tones.
