Location
Shireoaks is a historic and picturesque village located on the border of South Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire. The village is ideally located for commuters, being close to both the A1 and M1 and with a train station offering services to Sheffield and Nottingham. Shireoaks has the River Ryton and Chesterfield Canal passing through which offer some beautiful walks. The village also has a number of small shops, hairdresser, fish and chip shop, newsagent with Post Office and a number of large supermarkets within a short drive.
The primary school and pre-school are both within walking distance of our development. Furthermore, secondary schools 'Outwood Academy Portland' and Worksop College are both considered outstanding schools.
